i must say....these are DIVINE!!!! oh so good! i used blackberry jam instead of strawberry. the recipe states you can use any kind of jam you would like.
1 3/4 sticks of butter
1 1/2 C. flour
1 1/2 C oats
1 C. brown sugar
1 Teaspoon baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
10-12 oz jar of strawberry (or any flavor) jam
mix the first 6 ingrediants together. grease a 9x13 pan. press 1/2 the oatmeal mixture in the bottom. spread the jam on top. then top with the rest of oatmeal mixture.
bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
Revisions: i used blackberry jam. also, this recipe was alot more crumbly than i thought. it works better and clumps together if you mix by hand to finish. these are so so so good!!!!
